Romantic Wine Tours in the Evergreen State
Romantic Wine Tours in the Evergreen State made famous in films like Sleepless in Seattle and Harry and the Hendersons, Washington State is often related to snow-capped mountains, pine forests that lead to the fertile coast and much of the rain. However, east of the Cascade Mountain Range is a whole other side of Washington state, which includes rolling grasslands, miles of orchards and farms, deserts and some of the world's leading wine regions. In fact, the Yakima Valley is home to some of the greatest romantic getaways and Washington wine tours.
Start your tour of the "other Washington" of the Cabin rental units that are routinely obtained through the eastern foothills of the Cascade Mountains. From the start of the Interstate 90, you will find the historic town of Roslyn, where the favorite TV series Northern Exposure was filmed in the 1990s. This former mining town has a Victorian architecture, quaint shops and cafes including the famous Café Roslyn itself.

Further east, another romantic region of the state Washington is the southeast region, where the landscape begins to rise in the Rocky Mountains.
